How to Be Happy
The New York Times’s guide on “How to Be Happy” includes a section called “Declutter (But Save What Makes You Happy).” The New York Times, November 26, 2017.
Hi Readers. Terri’s Tips February 2018 has a great article you might want to read completely. I’ll just highlight the section which talks about psychologists and other organization experts telling us that having a less cluttered home really does help with happiness. And you’ll stay healthier physically by fewer chances to injure yourself in a less-cluttered home. If you impart the “1 minute rule” or the one I also believe in — IF IT TAKES 1 (OR 5) MINUTES OR LESS — JUST DO IT! Hang up your coat, load the dishwasher, make your bed, pack your gym bag for the next morning, etc, etc. Happiness involves relationships, purpose at work/volunteering, your optimism, generosity, and your surroundings at home. Please call if you’d like to learn habit changes about getting and staying organized to get on the right path for a happier, more meaningful, life.
